It’s a winter’s day in London. Grey, fast, hurrying to get to the warmth of an interior space. London isn’t somewhere I would imagine feeling inspired, I suppose it wasn’t London that did the inspiring. Richard and I met to share our experiences about working as a creative in a world where everyone appears creative and seems to be doing better than you. In these moments we realised we hadn’t been creative for ourselves since our university days. This concluded with talk of our childhoods growing up in rural England and now seeing how farmers were being treated, the idea was born to show farmers' positive work across the UK. So began the search for the farmers taking responsibility for our land and sea. The cows go back to their calves, the fishermen collect prawns individually, and the kelp farmers give back to our oceans. The beauty and creativity found in these corners of our small island are ones of hope, ones that will lead the way to a better future for our ecosystems, for us and for our planet.
